As this situation grows desperate for our survival every little bit of scientific knowledge and the use of our natural vibrational elements helps to support our planet. Colour is one of nature’s amazing vibrational energies that can be used to support this situation.
The energy efficiency of using colour that we wear to energise our bodies like red tones of underwear and clothing to stimulate the body and actually bring up the warmth in our bodies therefore reducing heating requirements. Blues that can bring down the heart beat and cool off our bodies therefore less need for air conditioners, etc. Greens to that support our nervous system and relax the muscles of our eyes when using computers, etc.
Colours for Buildings
Darker colours absorb more heat, example roofs, walls, windows. Lighter colours reflect light, so therefore they don’t hold the heat as much. Example, lighter colours are preferable for soffits and eaves to reflect more light through the windows for added interior light. Fence line walls in lighter colours are also good reflectors for interior lighting.
Yellow tones give you more light reflection than any other colour. It lifts your light level and decreases the need for artificial lighting. Blue tones absorb glare and cool the body by relaxing the heartbeat. Greens relax the nervous system at the same time as cooling the body generally reducing need for electricity, etc. Reds and oranges are colours that will stimulate the heartbeat and help support the body with its own warm vibrational energy reducing green house gases.
This is just a general overview of how colours can be used to support energy efficiency. NSW State Government legislation requires new buildings to meet energy rating criteria (BASIX) including colour.
