View before and after images below and a brief explanation to the carefully thought out plan that goes into every job.
Colour Rationale: Using classic colours to enhance the architecture to bring out the best features and hide structural defects and camouflage soilage and runoff. The deeper sandstone tone accentuates the front entry columns, front window and street entry wall. Hedge and shrubs were added to soften the hard lines of the front façade. The front door colour was used to feature the entrance and the bargeboard and guttering colour was used to highlight the roofline. Dulux Charcoal Essence was used for front entry doors, bargeboard and guttering. The front signage in charcoal essence gives a strong visual identification to the building. The revitalised appearance adds value to this classic building.
“The Peak” Penthouse Pool Leisure Centre
Colour Rationale: This attractive recreation and pool area welcomes owners and tenants alike. The aqua colours of the rended wall finishes were designed to harmonize with the tiles and enhance the pool colour itself. These classic colours won’t date and were chosen to hide soilage and enhance the pool colour itself. These classic colours won’t date and were chosen to hide soilage and to be resistant to the constant UV fading. Adding Everlasting Palms in terracotta pots brings the outside in and enahances the entire space with a calming and peaceful ambience for everybody to enjoy, and therefore increasing the property value as a whole.
High Rise Foyer
Colour Rationale: A need to lift light levels we changed the red ceiling to a yellow toned colour to match marble walls, adding a new up-lighter and balancing the focus by adding a terracotta potted plant with a circular form to add symmetry.
High Rise Entry
Colour Rationale: Nobody could find the entry to this building! So we used the balance of Feng Shui by using large address numbers on both side of the entry. Adding a terracotta potted plant with a circular form to add symmetry and lifting the light level in the internal foyer.
Classic Apartment Complex
Colour Rationale: As this apartment complex was designed with white bricks by a well known architect, the owners were loathed to paint the bricks. Unfortunately the soilage and run off over the years has become so profound that they were left with no other alternative but to paint the bricks. We advised a classic colour to go with the architectural style and hide the increasing dirt runoff. The new paint colours lifted the property value as well as updating the building’s overall appearance and bringing it into today’s era without losing it’s classic look. By adding the ironstone accents helped to keep the building true to it’s architectural heritage. This makeover has proved that it has lifted the building’s value in today’s property market value.
